OUR BUILDING

At the heart of Bukit Kiara, Taman Tun Dr Ismail, stands SGSM’s three-storey building — a lasting symbol of the Society’s growth and perseverance. After four years of construction, the building was officially opened in 2016, marking a significant milestone in SGSM’s history.

The journey began in 1991 and was far from easy, with securing the necessary funding presenting a major challenge. Through the support of Council Members and a dedicated fundraising golf tournament, SGSM was able to bring the vision to life.

Today, the building provides a welcoming space for members, featuring meeting rooms, a reading and recreation room, and separate surau facilities for men and women, alongside other essential amenities. SGSM extends its sincere appreciation to Datuk Seri Ruslin Hasan, former Vice President of SGSM and former Mayor of Kuala Lumpur, for his unwavering support and assistance throughout the journey.

More than a physical space, the building stands as a testament to the commitment, unity and determination of those who helped shape SGSM into the Society it is today.
